Mika has quite a few bangers, but this is the bangeriest. Not only that, but “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)” was released in 2007. I don’t know how many of you remember or were even around in 2007, so I think this reminder will prove helpful:
Our culture was not as body positive then as it is now. So Mika, writing this song, performing this song, making a video for this song, and taking it all the way to #9 on the UK charts, is pretty amazing.
It makes sense though. Like I said, this is the bangeriest.
