Some songs are just beautiful. I’m sure there are ways to quantify that beauty through explanations about beat, meter, range, instrumentation, vocals, etc. And they are probably all very good ways.
Sometimes though it is nice to simply lay back and let the music be beautiful. When Alison Krauss is singing a beautiful song like that, that is very, very easy to do.
