Whoa. Seriously.

Project 365 Day #2

“Rosa Parks” by Outkast

“Rosa Parks” from the album Aquemini released in 1998

Legal issues aside, this is the ultimate party song.

There was a period in my life when “Rose Parks” was played at every wedding reception I went to, even when the DJ had to be given the CD and forced to shove it in the mix. Two amazing poets, Andre 3000 and Big Boi flow freely one verse after another in this bumping beat that mixes harmonica music with record scratches and guitar riffs.

When this song comes on, if you don’t feel it, you ain’t listening right.

See what else I’ve placed on Project 365 here.
