“Take on Me” from the album Hunting High and Low, released in 1985
“Take on Me” is one of those iconic hits from the 80s that immediately takes me back to that analogue time when our hair was big and our clothes were bright. I know it wasn’t perfect in the 80s. I mean, it gave us Reaganomics and crack and a series of political scandals that even 2023’s idiotic politicians have trouble keeping up with.
That said, the music was amazing.
“Take on Me” is that music encapsulated in a four minute banger that crawls into my brain and cozies up there for as long as it wants.
