I’ve always liked Barenaked Ladies. I don’t know what it is about this band that just does something for me. They’re just a fun band, I guess. Their mashup, with the talented Sarah McLachlan (perhaps you’ve heard of her and her concern for pets), is one of the best.
Truth be told, while I wouldn’t say I dislike mashups, I would say I am picky when it comes to that particular genre of music. So the fact that this one made it on this list really speaks to its quality.
I mean, at least for me, a man with little to no knowledge on what makes good music good music.
