I love a good supergroup. And there isn’t one quite like The Highwaymen. Made up of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Waylon Jennings, there could not be a more outlaw band of outlaw country singers.

And their cover of Jimmy Webb’s mystical song about reincarnation is one of the greatest things ever recorded.
